Job summary

Pencco, Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to travel nationwide with the Installation Manager to assist with equipment installations and system upgrades.

This hands-on role supports the team by preparing materials, assembling equipment, troubleshooting issues, and documenting completed work to meet safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with local technicians, inspect systems for quality and compliance, and help with testing, startup, and post-install follow-up service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide to support equipment installations and quality control inspections.
• Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment assembly tasks.
• Prepare tools, equipment, materials, and job sites for installation.
• Work with the Installation Manager and local technicians to complete projects.
• Assist with inspecting existing and newly installed systems for quality and compliance.
• Take photos and maintain accurate installation and QC documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements.
• Communicate project progress and field concerns to Installation Manager.
• Support system testing, startup, troubleshooting, and follow-up service.
• Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
