Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. (GPI) seeks construction inspectors for municipal and state transportation projects in Vermont. You will review plans, document work activities, perform quantity calculations, and inspect work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specs.

The role includes field inspection and office engineering support within a national engineering firm. Strong candidates have a civil engineering background (BS/AS) and relevant inspection experience; certifications such as ACI,

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Civil Engineering desirable or 3 years of transportation construction inspection experience.
• Certifications in ACI, NICET, NETTCP, and Traffic Control are a plus.
• Experience on VTRANS or Other Federal, State, and County projects is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review of plans, documentation of work activities as well as quantity calculations
• Inspection of work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications, including field inspection and office engineering
