Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking construction inspectors to support municipal and state transportation construction projects across Vermont. The role involves reviewing plans, documenting work, calculating quantities, and inspecting work to ensure conformance with specifications.

Both field and office engineering duties are included. GPI is a respected multi-discipline engineering firm with over 50 years of experience implementing transportation infrastructure projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• BS or AS in Civil Engineering desirable or 3 years of transportation construction inspection experience
• Certifications in ACI, NICET, NETTCP, and Traffic Control are a plus
• Experience on VTRANS or Other Federal, State, and County projects is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

• Review of plans, documentation of work activities as well as quantity calculations
• Inspection of work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications, including field inspection and office engineering
