Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking a Field Inspector to perform inspections on newly constructed homes to verify HERS and ENERGY STAR standards. The role involves daily travel to multiple sites, coordinating with field staff and educating trades on required corrections during testing.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or AA degree, construction experience, and strong communication skills. Travel expectations include driving long distances with company support provided.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly with builders, inspectors and field coordinators.
• Experience in field construction environments with safety awareness.
• Ability to read building plans and interpret codes during inspections.
• Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and HERS-compliance testing for new construction homes.
• Travel daily to multiple job sites and complete inspections on schedule.
• Communicate deficiencies to superintendents and educate trades on corrections.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate with Field Coordinator on status.
