Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking a Field Inspector to verify stages of new home construction from foundations to ENERGY STAR/HERS compliance. You will perform field inspections at residential development sites, interfacing with superintendents, subcontractors, city inspectors, and the Area Manager.

Travel daily to multiple job sites, complete inspection reports, and communicate inefficiencies, educating trades on corrections.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or AA Degree.
Two years of construction experience and/or one year of field experience with a related degree.
ICC Residential Certifications preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire.
HERS-Rater Certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
ENERGY STAR for Homes preferred.
OSHA 10-Hour Training Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform field inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction builders.
Travel daily to multiple job sites.
Complete daily inspection reports for inspections.
Communicate inefficiencies to job superintendents and educate trades on corrections items.
