Job summary

ARCXIS is seeking a Field Inspector to verify newly constructed homes for HERS, ENERGY STAR, and other programs. You will inspect residential sites, coordinate with field staff, and report findings to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Travel daily to multiple sites, test according to program requirements, and maintain detailed inspection records. A strong grasp of construction practices and energy codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to convey directions clearly.
• Able to read and interpret building plans and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with thoroughness in inspections and reporting.
• Physically capable of handling equipment, ladders, and travel between sites.
• Able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction.
• Travel daily to multiple job sites and complete inspection reports.
• Communicate inefficiencies to superintendents and educate trades on corrections.
• Maintain GPS daily driving mileage log and real-time tracking.
• Coordinate with Field Coordinator and Operations Manager on job status.
