ARCXIS in Houston, TX, seeks a Field Inspector to verify work at residential developments from foundations to ENERGY STAR compliance. You will inspect sites, coordinate daily travel, and document findings with detailed reports.

The role requires strong communication with builders, subcontractors, city inspectors, and the Area Manager. Candidates should have a HS diploma or AA degree and relevant construction experience; professional certifications like ICC, HERS, ENERGY STAR, or photovoltaic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA Degree required.
• Two (2) years of construction experience and/or one (1) year of field experience with related degree.
• ICC Residential Certifications preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• HERS-Rater Certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• ENERGY STAR for Homes preferred.
• Photovoltaic Inspector Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and HERS compliance testing for new construction builders.
• Travel daily to multiple job sites.
• Complete daily inspection reports of inspections.
• Communicate inefficiencies to job superintendents and educate trades on correction items.
