Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking an Industrial Sales Representative to support customer needs through field-based sales and gear inspections across the southeastern US. You will build lasting customer relationships, present technical solutions, and drive opportunities from quotes to close.

Expect to travel approximately 50% and maintain accurate records while adhering to company policies. A valid driver's license and safety-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school or college degree (experience also acceptable)
• 2 years servicing or calling on paper industry clients
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Stellar driving record and ability to cover southeastern US territory

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-site sales and gear inspections to become familiar with products and territory
• Develop technical knowledge to communicate products and gear inspection services to customers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their needs
• Maintain contact with existing customers and make cold calls to prospects
• Submit quotes and RFQs and track progress of opportunities
• Read blueprints/drawings and operate safely on-site during field visits
• Manage on-site projects to meet schedules with minimal supervision
• Provide services and customer support during field visits and update company records
