Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our exceptional service. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center, using U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory and help with equipment inspections and preparation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; on-the-job training including forklift and propane handling is provided. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and inspect equipment on the lot.
• Explain products and services and answer customer questions.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns.
• Install hitch and trailer wiring; propane fills (certification offered on employment).
• Support ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
