Job summary

Diversified Energy Company seeks an Instrument and Electrical Technician I to join the I&E Team in field support. You will design, install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and gas facility process equipment, interfacing daily with IT, SCADA, and field operations teams.

The role requires a HS diploma and preferred instrumentation/automation education with strong analytical and teamwork skills. On-site field work and emergency/on-call support are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or technical degree in instrumentation, automation, or process controls preferred.
• Oil and gas industry experience is a plus; strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and computer proficiency required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, engineering, and operations teams.
• Must be able to work in a team, take direction, and prioritize work to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide field-level technical support for oil and gas facility process equipment.
• Design, install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot I&E assets in the field.
• Interface with SCADA/IT teams and operations to resolve issues and optimize performance.
