The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with hydraulic mining equipment and strong knowledge of fluid power, diesel engines, and electrical components.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational/technical training in heavy equipment mechanics or industrial hydraulics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify issues such as leaks or faults.
  • Dismantle, repair, and replace hydraulic components (pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses) per specs.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance, lubrication, wear analysis, and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
  • Interpret hydraulic schematics, manuals, and diagrams to guide tasks safely.
  • Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts replacements.
