Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair and startup HVAC systems at commercial customer sites. You will work with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, use blueprints and tools to diagnose issues, and maintain high safety standards on-site.

A High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of HVAC experience, and EPA certification are required; a valid driver’s license is also needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair and start up HVAC systems at customer sites.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using blueprints or specs and standard tools.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, including overnight stays.
• Maintain safety and security of company assets on site.
