Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, seeks an experienced on-site technician to commission, install, troubleshoot and service HVAC/Controls projects at customer locations.

You will document validation steps, coordinate with customers and team leaders, and stay current on Direct Digital Control systems. A valid driver’s license and 7+ years in HVAC/Controls are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 7+ years in HVAC/Controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving history (12+ months).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close-out requirements.
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact; service products and equipment on projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by examining layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials and syncing on-site work.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Enforce safety and maintain asset security; record use and wear of equipment.
• Display team effort and flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
