Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks an experienced HSE Specialist II to support field-based health, safety, and environmental programs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and client teams to promote safe work practices.

The role emphasizes inspections, incident investigations, training, and compliance documentation across projects, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and lead safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4-year related degree and 2 years’ experience and STS-C or 5 years relevant experience and CHST.
• 80% of time on active construction sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain relationships.
• Support and promote the company’s safety program and incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
• Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
• Contributes to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Coaches and teaches duties and processes to more junior team members.
• Prepares and delivers safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Contributes to development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of company HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
• Model HSE goals to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
• Provide input supporting audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
• Maintain required reports and documentation to meet standards
