Job summary

Rosendin is hiring an HSE Manager I to lead health, safety, and environmental practices on a field-based role. You will implement Project Safety Plans, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, and customers to maintain a safe work site.

The position emphasizes site-based responsibilities, incident investigations, training delivery, and adherence to NFPA 70E guidelines, with opportunities for growth and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of organizational hierarchy, job roles, and supporting practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines under time pressure.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document hazardous conditions; propose corrective actions.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and safety planning.
• Deliver safety training as needed.
• Lead investigations of injuries/incidents and share lessons learned.
• Support pre-task planning and site safety meetings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to enforce safety standards.
• Identify training needs with field leadership.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures and MOPs.
• Issue and monitor safety permits.
• Interpret project diagrams; apply NFPA 70E guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of HSE standards and goals.
• Mentor junior safety staff.
• Analyze safety data and prepare regulatory reports.
• Assist with emergency planning.
