Job summary

Magnolia Oil & Gas is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Representative to support its workover operations across field locations. You will serve as the primary HSE resource, partnering with operations personnel, contractors, and leadership to drive continuous safety improvements and regulatory compliance.

The role requires field-level guidance, incident investigations, and development of environmental programs for Magnolia’s asset network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HSE experience in upstream oil and gas.
• Experience supporting workover or rig-based operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Effective communication with field staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise workover operations teams to improve HSE performance.
• Provide field-level HSE support for rig fleet and field operations.
• Integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
• Ensure conformance with regulations and company practices.
• Develop and implement programs to improve HSE performance.
• Conduct field audits, inspections, and observations.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE meetings, training, and contractor engagement.
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Support environmental compliance and spill reporting.
• Analyze incident data to drive improvements.
• Prepare internal and external reports per regulations.
• Coach teams on HSE discussions and planning.
• Build relationships with operations leadership and contractors.
