Job summary

Magnolia Oil & Gas in Houston is seeking an Environmental & Air Specialist to lead development and continuous improvement of environmental compliance and performance programs. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for air quality and regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of environmental compliance experience for upstream oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of air regulations and permitting requirements.
• Experience with environmental reporting and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of environmental programs and performance metrics.
• Serve as subject matter expert for air compliance and emissions management.
• Develop and maintain environmental management systems and procedures.
• Oversee air permitting, emissions calculations, and greenhouse gas reporting.
• Coordinate with consultants for permits, calculations, and regulatory reporting.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
