Job summary

Magnolia Oil & Gas seeks a Sr Health & Safety Representative to lead field-level HSE efforts in the Giddings/Caldwell area. You will partner with employees, contractors, and leaders to promote safe, reliable operations and ensure compliance with safety programs.

In this role you will coach field leaders, support hazard recognition, manage risk, and oversee incident investigations, reporting, and lessons learned across production sites and contractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Significant experience (≥10 years) in upstream oil and gas health & safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and upstream safety practices.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and influence safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-level HSE resource for the Giddings/Caldwell area across wells, facilities, and activities.
• Maintain visible field presence and engage with employees, contractors, and leaders to promote safe work.
• Coach leaders on hazard recognition, risk management, and safe work execution.
• Lead investigations, incident reporting, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate HSE meetings, training, drills, and contractor engagement activities.
