HMSHost Corporation is seeking a Field HR Generalist to support HR policies and procedures across branches, bridging strategic and tactical HR functions. This role provides counseling to DO/SrDO, operations management, and staff, and ensures all administrative HR processes are carried out.

Exempt position reporting to the HR Manager or Regional HR Director, with significant branch-level impact. The Generalist leads branch projects, recruits and onboards, and develops policies unique to the

Qualifications

• Requires 4 year college degree or equivalent.
• Requires 3-5 years of HR Recruiting or related HR Generalist experience.
• SHRM certification will provide a foundation for successful performance in this role.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend policy documents and interact with associates.
• Leadership skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advise operations managers on discipline, performance, retention, engagement, rewards and recognition.
• Collaborate with HR Manager to establish a positive HR presence in the branch.
• Source, screen, interview, offer, hire and orient candidates/new hires.
• Develop and deliver new hire orientation and required policy trainings.
• Ensure compliance with airport policies and procedures in HR decisions.
• Conduct confidential HR counseling, investigations and exit interviews.
• Monitor HR metrics such as turnover and staffing needs to forecast requirements.
• Maintain employee files and data entry in HR systems (PeopleSoft).
