Kodiak Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an HR Clerk/Generalist to support field operations in Odessa, TX. This full-time role requires travel between field locations and provides payroll, HR, safety, and procurement assistance for project teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in field clerical roles in construction, be highly organized, communicate well, and handle confidential information with discretion. Per diem is available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in field clerk/office management in a construction environment.
• Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel and report to different field offices within the Permian Basin.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word.

Responsabilités

• Data entry in HR system including new hire processing, status changes and separations.
• Assist employees with online new hire process, verify documents, E-verify, onboarding deadlines.
• General office duties: scanning, reports, drug testing, answering phones, filing, documentation.
• Balance and submit time via timesheets to payroll in the timeframe.
• Assist Project HSE site onboarding including safety orientation.
• Assist Site Manager and Superintendents with weekly progress reports.
• Procurement support: office supplies, deliveries, billing preparation.
• Provide maps and directions for visitors to the site.
