Qualifications

• Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic.
• Competitive nature. Driven to succeed.
• Passion for/Knowledge of heavy equipment a plus.
• Experience with general contractors, excavators and landscapers a plus.
• Solid leadership qualities (examples of initiative).
• 2 to 10+ years of sales experience.
• Strong questioning techniques that drive business conversations.
• Eager to embrace technology (cell phones, i-Pads, CRM).
• Hungry to learn and an ability to apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage your heavy equipment sales territory.
• Prospect new customers while expanding existing accounts.
• Conduct job site visits and equipment demonstrations.
• Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
• Manage your pipeline, forecasts, and customer data in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a strong customer experience.
• Educate customers on purchasing, financing, and rental options.
• Travel regularly throughout your assigned territory.
