Job summary

Industrial Safety Solutions seeks an experienced H2S Technician to support oil and gas operations across the Permian Basin. This field-based role emphasizes safety, gas detection, and equipment maintenance, with travel to customer sites as required.

Ideal candidates live in or near the Permian Basin and can accommodate a 14/14 rotation; a 5/2 option may be considered for Midland-area commuters. W2 with standard benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with H2S safety in oil & gas preferred.
• Familiar with gas detection and respiratory protection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide H2S safety support at oil & gas locations in the Permian Basin.
• Set up, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain gas detection equipment.
• Install and maintain H2S monitoring systems and safety gear at sites.
• Inspect and maintain SCBA and respiratory protection equipment.
• Document maintenance, testing, and calibration activities.
• Maintain field reports and logs; communicate issues to supervisors.
• Keep company vehicle and gear in serviceable condition.
