Job summary

XKIG is hiring a Groundsperson to clear brush and trees and perform on-site cleanup on job sites. The role requires physical strength, balance, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Previous experience in landscaping or outdoor work is preferred; a driver’s license is helpful but not required.

This full-time position includes medical, vision, dental, and 401K benefits. Responsibilities include following safety rules, clearing debris, operating hand tools and saws, loading trucks,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior landscaping, construction, or outdoor work experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Keep work areas clear of debris and hazards.
• Clear undergrowth with hand tools and power saws from right-of-way.
• Load/unload trucks with brush, logs, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Maintain and operate trucks and equipment; report major repairs.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
