Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by clearing brush and trees, loading materials, and performing site clean-up. A valid driver's license is required, and work occurs outdoors with variable weather conditions.

This full-time position emphasizes safety, equipment operation, and teamwork, including driving and basic maintenance of trucks. Benefits include health insurance and 401K; PTO eligibility varies by role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or education equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Work from the ground to clear undergrowth and trim brush with hand tools and gas-powered saws.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed material into a chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Drive truck or operate equipment as assigned; perform basic maintenance on trucks.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and wear required PPE; travel for storm work when needed.
