Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to support our vegetation management crew by clearing brush and trees from the ground and performing site clean-up after each job. A valid driver’s license is required, and safety practices must be followed at all times.

The role involves loading and unloading debris, using pole saws and chain saws, and assisting with site setup and traffic control. This full-time position emphasizes endurance, outdoor work, and teamwork on storm restoration projects.

Qualifications

• Requires physical endurance to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather.
• Must be able to operate and maintain hand tools and small equipment.
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License if driving position.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew by clearing brush and trees from the ground.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris.
• Operate ground-level equipment and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
