XKIG is hiring a Groundsperson to support vegetation management by clearing brush and trees from the ground, loading debris, and assisting with on-site clean-up. A valid Driver’s License and ability to work outdoors in all weather are required.

This safety-sensitive role involves daily use of hand tools and occasional storm restoration travel. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use saws in uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must wear PPE as required and have a valid Driver's License if driving.
• Must be able to understand verbal job instructions and communicate with others.

Responsabilités

• Perform ground-based clearing of brush and trees per direction.
• Load and unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Operate and service tools and equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic to protect workers.
• Travel for storm restoration work when required.
