Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Groundsperson to clear brush and trees as directed and perform site clean-up. Prior outdoor work experience is preferred; a driver’s license is helpful but not required. This full-time role includes benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) enrollment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include maintaining safe work areas, handling heavy tools, loading materials, and assisting with road setup and traffic control. The job requires outdoor work, weather resilience, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Driver's License is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules on the worksite.
• Clear debris and brush from work areas.
• Operate hand tools and power saws to trim brush and trees.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris and feed brush into a chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
