Pearce Services is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell sites. You will travel regionally, work independently, and support 24/7 on-call demands in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in generator maintenance, solid knowledge of installations and repairs, and basic familiarity with related safety and regulatory requirements. The role involves physically demanding work and on-site visits across locations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• At least one year of intense work with generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair; familiarity with electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install and replace components.
• Perform regular performance checks and maintenance on generators.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring and controls and test operation.
• Respond promptly to alarms; be on call 24/7 if needed.
• Adhere to safety practices and participate in training meetings.
