Job summary

Heritage Home Service in Auburn, NH is seeking an experienced Generator Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair standby generators, primarily Generac units, at customers' homes.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose repairs, log service details on a tablet, and uphold safety and professional standards. Training provided for Generac certification, and a company vehicle with tools provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of generator service experience preferred.
• Generac certification preferred (or willingness to become certified—training provided).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate directly with customers.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment (min 50 pounds).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Professional appearance and customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair standby generators.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and communicate repairs or part replacements.
• Log service details and customer interactions using tablet.
