Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is hiring a Generator Mechanic/Service Technician to diagnose and repair standby Generac generators at customers' homes using a company vehicle. You will plan the work with the Service Manager, read technical manuals, and document services performed in our software system.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and experience with small engine repair. Typical schedule is Mon-Fri 8 am–5 pm, outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Electrical certification is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience with mechanical small engine repair and electrical wiring.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair standby generators.
• Travel to customers in the service area using company vehicle.
• Communicate with customers about arrival and work performed.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain customer generators.
• Follow manuals, diagrams, blueprints, and procedures.
