Waukesha-pearce Industries Llc in Odessa/Midland, TX seeks a Field Compressor Technician on a 14/14 schedule to service natural gas engines and compressors. You will work alongside a master/journeyman technician on assigned jobs, read schematics, and follow OEM specifications to ensure high quality workmanship.

You must have at least 3 years of gas compressor experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of gas compressor experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with clean record.
• Strong reading of schematics and OEM equipment.
• Proficient in electrical diagnostics and PLCs.

Responsabilités

• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor/lead technician.
• Perform task according to OEM specifications.
• Assist in development of class B & C technicians.
• Read schematics, blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications.
• Determine best procedure to perform job safely and effectively.
• Perform WPI service bulletin upgrades as sent by factory.
• Inspect own work for tolerances and fit.
• Complete required paperwork including service reports, JSEA, PM sheets, parts list, engine and compressor service forms.
• Work safely with high housekeeping standards.
• Operate basic tools and equipment.
• Aid customers as requested by lead technician.
