Job summary

Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a Field Compressor Technician in Odessa, TX. You will rotate on a 14/14 schedule servicing the Odessa/Midland area and work with a master/journeyman technician on major repairs of gas engines and compressors.

You will read schematics, perform safe procedures, upgrade service bulletins, and document all work. A valid license is required; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of gas compressor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license and driving record compliant with WPI.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor/management or lead technician.
• Read schematics, blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Lead small repairs or service jobs on natural gas engines and compressors.
• Ensure safety, complete paperwork and JSEA/PM sheets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and timely communication with Supervisors.
