Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a Field Compressor Technician to support the Odessa/Midland area on a 14/14 schedule. You will work with a master/journeyman on natural gas engines and compressors, ensuring safety and quality on assigned jobs and communicating progress with leadership.

The role requires reading schematics, performing OEM-compliant tasks, and aiding in the development of junior technicians while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of gas compressor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license and driving record compliant with insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor or lead technician.
• Follow OEM specifications for tasks and repairs.
• Assist in development of class B & C technicians.
• Read schematics, blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications.
• Determine safe, effective procedures for each job.
• Perform service bulletin upgrades as directed by factory.
• Inspect own work, check tolerances and fit.
• Document service reports, PM sheets, and parts lists.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and safety practices.
• Complete required paperwork and job-related forms.
• LO/TO compliance for each job with crew.
• Own basic tools required for the position.
