Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking a Full Time Service Technician Class A to repair and overhaul industrial natural gas engines. You will assist the service manager with supervisory duties and work on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages.

Candidates must have 4 years of experience, a GED, advanced troubleshooting skills, valid driver's license, ability to travel and lift 50 pounds, and be able to work independently to ensure safe, proficient completion of jobs.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; certifications preferred.
• 4 years of related experience required.
• Service Tech Class A qualifications preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills required.
• WED VHP and VGF certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the service manager with supervisory duties.
• Work alone on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages.
• Understand engine electric controls and governing systems.
• Perform all work related to gas compressor revamp.
• Stay informed of latest equipment model changes.
• Ensure jobs are completed safely and proficiently.
• Promote welfare among the company and its divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
