WPI in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Compressor Technician to join the 14/14 rotation servicing the Odessa/Midland area. Works with master/journeyman technicians on natural gas engines and compressors, leading small repair or service jobs and promoting safe work practices.
You will read schematics, perform tasks per OEM specs, complete service reports, and maintain high housekeeping standards while coordinating with the Regional Field Service Manager.
Competenze
- Minimum 3 years of gas compressor experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license and driving record compliant with WPI insurance requirements.
Mansioni
- Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor/management or lead technician.
- Read schematics, blueprints, drawings and specifications.
- Lead small repair or service jobs on natural gas engines and compressors.
- Ensure safe work practices and follow JSA/HSE requirements.
- Complete service reports, JSEA, PM sheets and related paperwork.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and inspect own work.
