Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks. The role covers preventative maintenance, breakdown resolution, installation and servicing at a designated location, reporting breakdown events, ordering parts, and maintaining service records.

Travel to customer sites will be required. The technician must have strong technical and communication skills, a valid driver license, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Must possess a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a specific location.
• Provide on-call and emergency support service to customers as required
• Travel as required for business needs; drive safely and adhere to traffic laws
• Complete administrative duties & documentation (reports, logs, inventory) and safety procedures.
