Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) seeks a Work Planner/Consulting Forester to join our vegetation management team. If you enjoy outdoor work, independence, and a fast-paced environment, this role offers opportunities to apply forestry knowledge and contribute to safe, high-quality services for utility clients.

You will identify hazards, document vegetation work, use tablets and GIS software, and communicate with clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard assessment.
• Ability to hike/right-of-way traversal and drive long hours.
• Familiarity with Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office; comfortable using an iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Drive to work sites and hike up to 10 miles per day in ROWs.
• Inspect and document vegetation work at customer properties.
• Record data using tablets and GIS software; data entry and tracking.
