Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Utility Forester to perform vegetation management for energy corridors. You will work outdoors, independently, and contribute to safe, efficient maintenance that aligns with client standards and industry practices.

The role emphasizes environmental awareness, accurate documentation, and proactive communication with landowners and agencies. AMS provides a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits from day one, and ongoing training toward industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in forestry, natural resources, or related field.
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, or green industry preferred.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and terrain.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot and identify vegetation needing pruning, removal, or protection.
• Classify prescribed work according to field conditions and client standards; may include herbicide use.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per client directives and ANSI standards.
• Engage landowners, agencies, and organizations; obtain permissions for vegetation work.
