Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily field operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. You will troubleshoot site issues and mentor crew members while ensuring efficiency and quality.

The role requires leading training, enforcing OSHA standards, maintaining equipment and records, and coordinating with property owners. A CDL is required, and the position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Formación

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organization skills and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of independent action without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight should not exceed approximately 300 pounds.
• Must have no fear of heights.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA standards and conducts safety training.
• Discusses issues with property owners and refers controversial cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains oral or written permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficiency of methods and equipment.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Inspects and arranges repairs for tools, trucks, and equipment.
• Keeps up with company policies, EEO/AA policies, and safety procedures.
