Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce is seeking an outside sales professional to promote our products and build relationships with new and existing accounts. You may work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs while pursuing sales and profit goals.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and provide product information and training. A valid driver's license and territory residency are required to operate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sales or restaurant management experience.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales preferred.
• Restaurant management or chef experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts and achieve growth within territory.
• Qualify prospects according to company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order/process issues.
• Participate in sales meetings and ongoing training.
