Job summary

Coastal Sunbelt Produce seeks an energetic outside sales professional to promote our products and build partnerships with new and existing accounts. This role emphasizes relationship-building, meeting sales and profit goals, and may require non-traditional hours to serve customers effectively.

Based in Tallahassee, FL, you will drive to customer sites, participate in district meetings, and contribute to training and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years related experience in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline.
• B2B or outside sales experience preferred; Sysco Sales Internship completion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth in assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects according to company account stratification goals.
• Assess customer needs and present a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity to share insights with customers.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings as needed.
• Assist with training of new employees and participate in district meetings.
• Review daily/weekly reports and maintain sales records and quotes.
