Job summary

LVT is seeking a proactive Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation across hardware and software ecosystems. You’ll partner with product managers, hardware engineers, software developers, and field teams to translate technical concepts into clear guides for internal teams and external customers.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where curiosity and attention to detail drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Writer for hardware products.
• Experience with CCMS tools such as Paligo, MadCap Flare, or Arbortext.
• Able to read CAD drawings and ECOs; familiar with engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain hardware documentation including installation guides and manuals.
• Work directly on-site at manufacturing and facilities, observing hardware components.
• Review engineering drawings, CAD models, BOMs, and ECOs to align docs with baselines.
• Draft content in Paligo or MadCap Flare following templates.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering and safety teams on standards.
• Create visual documentation with photos and diagrams.
• Plan end-to-end media for technical documentation including video shoots.
