Job summary

We are ALSO, an electric mobility company in Silicon Valley, seeking a technical writer to develop owner’s guides, service manuals, and accessory guides for our e-bike hardware and software. You’ll work with engineers, support, testing, marketing, and product management to ensure clear, consistent documentation for a global audience.

You’ll leverage XML/HTML authoring tools, collaborate with illustrators, and manage content across formats while staying up-to-date with new features and internal

Qualifications

• Experience writing technical documentation for hardware and software products.
• Ability to document hardware assembly or installation at product level (torque specs, etc.).
• Proficient in structured topic-based content, information architecture, and writing for a global audience.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical content for hardware and software products.
• Create content scalable across products and translatable into multiple languages.
• Collaborate with engineers, illustrators, and other teams to publish owner’s guides and service manuals.
• Manage content through revision control, translation, and file management.
• Deliver docs in print, PDF, web, and mobile formats.
