Job summary

PROFLEX® Products Inc. is seeking a Technical Services Representative to educate customers, support installers, and provide field technical assistance across an assigned territory in Florida.

You will conduct product knowledge sessions, demonstrations, and training for store personnel, distributors, contractors, and customers, ensuring proper application and installation of Proflex products while documenting findings and coordinating with management.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring installation, construction products, or technical support.
• Knowledge of flooring systems, substrate prep, installation practices, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand and explain technical product information.
• Strong presentation, customer service, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize territory travel, manage appointments, and document work.
• Proficient with email, telephone, electronic reporting tools, and basic office software.
• Valid driver's license and compliance with driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct product knowledge sessions for store personnel, distributors, contractors, and installers.
• Explain product applications, substrate preparation, installation methods, limitations, and compatibility.
• Review product samples and training materials with store personnel.
• Conduct product demonstrations and identify training needs.
• Visit job sites to provide technical guidance on product selection, application, and installation.
• Evaluate reported product performance concerns and installation conditions.
• Gather information and document findings objectively for escalation.
• Plan and complete visits throughout the territory and coordinate with management.
• Respond promptly to technical inquiries and keep management informed.
• Maintain records of visits, trainings, inquiries, and schedules.
