Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Fire Protection Field Engineer to provide full life-cycle fire protection support for AWS Data Centers. You will serve as the engineering expert for fire and life safety, review designs and submittals, and troubleshoot complex issues across multiple regions.

Qualifications

Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
Knowledge of fire alarm and fire suppression system installation, operation and design.
Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, FM Global, IFC and IBC standards.

Responsibilities

Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through maintenance.
Review design/submittals for new Data Centers in your region.
Troubleshoot, perform RCA, and document corrective actions for site/equipment failures.
