Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Field Engineer to provide full life-cycle support for AWS Data Centers, from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will lead regional fire protection engineering efforts and coordinate with operations, design, and safety teams.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fire protection coding, data center experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while improving availability and reliability across multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire protection engineering across large-scale facilities.
• Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, FM Global standards, IFC and IBC.

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design to turnover.
• Review design and equipment submittals for new Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot and perform RCA and implement corrective actions.
