Job summary

AFL is seeking a field telecom installer in Seattle to connect and service fiber and broadband infrastructure for residential customers. You will read layouts, install fiber drops, configure ONT power supplies, and verify service end-to-end while following safety rules.

Must have your own vehicle and tools, work independently in the field, and communicate professionally with customers. Experience with VOIP, routers, and home networking is a plus; OSHA safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must have own vehicle and tools.
• Ability to read layouts and prints.
• Experience with VOIP or copper/telecom is a plus.
• Knowledge of fiber and copper facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber drops (aerial, buried, plenum).
• Configure customer-owned equipment and modems.
• Educate customers on internet access and usage.
• Verify service and document updates in system.
