Job summary

Bristol Alliance of Companies in Hawaii is seeking a Drop Installer I to install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom cables for residential and commercial properties. You will work with fiber and copper, set up enclosures, trace wiring, and assist with fiber splicing and repairs, while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, up to 6 months of field experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–6 months of experience in the field or related area.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring various cable systems, including internet, TV, and phone services.
• Placing aerial and underground cable to connect customer premises.
• Installing enclosures, vaults, and other infrastructure components.
• Marking facilities to identify and trace wiring.
• Assisting with fiber optic splicing and repairs.
• Performing general construction labor and transporting equipment as needed.
• Conducting signal testing and troubleshooting for service performance.
• Providing excellent customer service and explaining services to customers.
