Job summary

Bristol Companies in Hawaii is seeking an experienced field installer to lay and maintain aerial and underground drop cables for residential and commercial clients. You will splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber and coax lines, following blueprints and safety standards for high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have 18 months to 2 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 months to 2 years’ related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain aerial and underground drop cables for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform splicing, grounding, bonding, and signal testing on coaxial and fiber optic lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues with minimal supervision.
• Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and work orders.
• Ensure installations comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Document work via digital or paper tickets.
• Mentor Drop Installer I and II team members.
• Communicate installation processes to customers.
