Job summary
JMB Foods is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee hands-on repairs for 30+ Jersey Mike's locations across New Jersey. The role requires field-based work with regular statewide travel, primarily weekdays with occasional early-morning or weekend tasks.
You will diagnose, repair, and service commercial kitchen and building systems, escalating when licensed trade support is needed. Preferred candidates have 5+ years in multi-site maintenance, EPA 608 certification, and experience
Qualifications
- At least 3 years hands-on facilities maintenance experience; 5+ years preferred.
- EPA 608 certification required for refrigerants.
- HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, CFESA, OSHA/lockout-tagout or manufacturer certs.
- Experience with commercial kitchen equipment brands listed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform general facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lighting, flooring, painting).
- Respond to repair requests across the portfolio.
- Service and troubleshoot walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, and related equipment.
- Escalate to licensed trades or contractors when needed and follow through to completion.
